Based on the true story of the Lois Wilson, the wife of Bill Wison, who founded Alcoholics Anonymous. This film covers their troubled marriage and how it resulted in her becoming the co-founder of Al-Anon, the nationwide support group that helps people who have alcoholics in their lives cope, yet maintain their independence without becoming co-dependent, enabling, or both.
